Changes to the Certified Cyber Professional scheme

A pilot for certification in CCP specialisms is ongoing and the new scheme will be introduced in 2021. As previously communicated, any changes will be phased in over time (during a transition period) and no-one will be required to hold both a role and a specialism certification for the same cyber security activity. All candidates with a non-expired role certification are unaffected – your role certifications will continue to be valid in the usual way until the period for which you were certified has expired. The deadline for CCP role applications and re-certification applications is 28th February 2021. It is essential when making an application that you inform your referees well in advance of submitting your application as fees cannot be refunded if references are not received in time to process the application.
